Introduction to Our Sustainability Program

At the core of our brand is a commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. As we embark on this journey, we recognize the importance of creating a positive impact on both the environment and society. Our sustainability program outlines the essential steps we are taking to ensure transparency, reduce waste, and promote responsible consumption. From our ethical supply chain to innovative materials and community engagement, we are dedicated to fostering a more sustainable future. Here are the key initiatives guiding our efforts:

OUR SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMME

Here are a few steps we wish to follow during our journey to ensure a more sustainable future for our brand.

  1. Ethical Supply Chain: Our aim is to ensure that our supply chain is transparent, fair, and ethical. This means working with suppliers who provide safe working conditions, fair wages, and respect human rights throughout the production process. Read more about our supply chain here.

  1. Sustainable Materials: We wish to prioritize using sustainable and eco-friendly materials in our products. This includes opting for organic, recycled, or upcycled fabrics and reducing the use of virgin materials. We also wish to explore innovative alternatives to conventional textiles, such as bio-based materials or fabrics made from renewable resources. This is a work in process. Read more about our materials here.

  1. Waste Reduction: We strive to minimize waste generation throughout our operations. This can be achieved by implementing measures to reduce fabric waste during production, encouraging recycling and upcycling of garments, and adopting packaging solutions that minimize environmental impact. Read more about waste reduction here.

  1. Carbon Footprint Reduction: We wish to set targets to reduce our carbon emissions across the entire supply chain. This can involve using renewable energy sources in production facilities, optimizing transportation logistics to reduce emissions, and exploring carbon offset programs to mitigate the remaining emissions. Read more about our carbon footprint here.

  1. Circular Economy: We wish to embrace the principles of the circular economy by designing products with longevity in mind (“Made to last”). Our aim is to promote repairability, encourage customers to recycle or return old garments, and explore take-back programs to give used clothing a new life. 1. Community Engagement: We wish to actively engage with local communities and initiatives that promote sustainability. This involves in supporting local artisans, collaborating with sustainable fashion organizations, and educating consumers about the importance of conscious consumption. Join our members club here.

Our main goal is to make sure to regularly assess and report progress towards these goals to maintain transparency and accountability.

We are committed in following the UN’s goals for sustainable development. This is a plan for businesses globally to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. We believe we have the greatest impact in our industry by focusing on the following four areas:

  • Decent work and economic growth (8).
  • Responsible consumption and production (12).
  • Climate action (13).
  • Partnerships for the goals (17).
